The Festival starts with SIAL Middle East Trade Fair at ADNEC, from 5th – 7th December, which amongst other things will include the Regional Barista Championships as well as the Mercury Awards.

Gourmet Abu Dhabi – Celebrity Chefs are also hitting the shores of Abu Dhabi including Matt Preston from MasterChef Australia, Graham Elliott, MasterChef USA and Adriano Zumbo from Zumbo’s just Desserts. The chefs will be taking part in cooking demonstrations, be appearing at some restaurants as well as “Meet & Greets and Cookbook signings.   There’s some big screen movie action going on too! Food lovers will also get the chance to enjoy dinner with John Cusack and Jesse Metcalfe as part of Gourmet Abu Dhabi celebrity hosted events.

Other key events include the Street Feast which will be in Al Ain 8th-10th December and Abu Dhabi Cornice from 15th – 17th December. Street Feast boasts a collection of 60 food trucks from across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain – with over 150 different food options to chose from. Some of the trucks will also be at various other locations, so check the website for details.

Our top picks :

Food Trucks ! We’re suckers for street food so the Food Trucks would definitely be calling us! We love supporting local businesses, so are delighted to see some of the #FoodPreneur trucks we have featured will be there, and are also excited to see five International Food Trucks will be at Street Feast too!

Celebrity Chefs meet Afternoon Tea! Who can resist this perfect pairing! – various events, dates and locations. Sure to be instagram worthy as well as a sweet treat.

Desert, Sky, Sea & Golf – 4 different dining experiences at four very different locations, from an observation deck, the desert and a dhow, these all sound good fun.

There’s plenty more things to see, do and eat during the festival, and there is sure to be something for all ages. Hop over to the website for more details.
