Get planning! Dubai Food Festival is coming, back for it’s fourth year we’ve been taking a look at what’s in store over the three week festival. As expected, there’s plenty of things to get involved in and we are pleased to see the return of some of our favorites, in particular the Beach Canteen and some new visiting Food Trucks. Here’s a quick roundup of what’s included :
Beach Canteen
One our firm favorites. There will be plenty to do from eating and drinking, cooking demos, music, fitness activities, activities for the kids and a beach cinema. A great place for new restaurants and cafes to be launched and showcase their food, we hear there will be a couple of different dining concepts too. (23rd Feb – 11 March)
Eat The World
Fill your belly with food from across the world as Food Trucks from London, USA & Singapore will join UAE Food Trucks at Burj Park (23rd – 25th Feb). There will be entertainment, music, celebrity chefs demos too. We’re particularly looking forward to the USA and Singaporean Trucks – not that we don’t love the British and UAE ones too.. but there are some super inspiring dishes and stories that come with these new additions to the Festival.
Restaurant Week
Fifteen different restaurants are offering a three course set menu for 199 AED. Our favorite picks include Bread Street Kitchen, Marina Social, Pier Chic and Rang Mahal. (23rd Feb – 4th March)
Fatafeet Kitchen
Head over to Festival City Mall for interactive events, cooking demonstrations, competitions and tasting sessions. (24 to 25 Feb)
Street Nights
Food Trucks, Street Art, Entertainment and a Play Area for the kids plus the B-Boys for entertainment and tricks. (2nd to 3rd March)
Taste of Dubai
Back for it’s tenth show. More details here
Dubai Hidden Gems

Restaurants range from one of the oldest kebab shops in Dubai through to a recently opened cafe in Al Quoz with plenty of different cuisines covered. If nothing else, this is a listing of some new and interesting places to dine at. Pleased to see that some of our favorite haunts are not listed and still remain ‘hidden’ 🙂
Dine & Win
An opportunity to win instant cash prizes through to a gourmet holiday or flights. 1000+ Restaurants are participating. (23rd Feb – 11th Mar) The Food Festival is sure to be a busy time for us and foodies alike, our plan is always to research what we want to do and make plans ahead of the events if possible.
